Yes! Throne of Glass was actually my favorite of the three Maas series I read this year. I am fully a sucker for the romance of ACOTAR (Rhysand makes me feel like I am fourteen, embarrassing I know), and Crescent City fell a little flat for me - but while Throne of Glass has romance, the action/adventure was a much stronger element of the story. It's truly an epic adventure where the protagonist starts and ends the story in a completely different place, and the resolution of defeating the bad guys felt a lot more satisfying than ACOTAR.
The series really starts to get good in book 3 (I skipped the prequel). Let me know if you end up checking it out!
Hah LFG is definitely male therapy! I've read ACOTAR and just read the first Crescent City, but having done ToG. Worth it?
